The Magnus DSM Dogmission
 

Our 3rd variation of the Legendary Magnus Dogbox is our best ever yet!

We have now further streamlined the Dogbox, to allow for quick ratio changes. This also allowed for better serviceability as now the 3rd and 4th gears are splined to the countershaft.

Now if you are looking for a different ratio, there is no need to go hunt for that elusive in between tire size. We can quickly switch to a different ratio by changing 3rd gear and spool gear. This also allows the sportsman to move up a class without having to buy a whole new gearset.

There is now a larger splined input shaft utilizing the Mitsubishi EVO 4 -9 Input shaft. This input shaft provides and extra margin of protection to those making high horsepower.

Other available options are:
Long ratio, short ratio, spool center differential (drag), 4-spider center differential (accepts factory viscous), dog 5th gear for complete race box (rally, roadrace), chromemoly shift Forks 1-2 and 3-4.

We strongly recommend assembly being performed in house by our qualified staff.

The gearset was designed to withstand 1000 ft lbs of torque. We have tested it up to 700ftlbs in our racecar.

The gearset will fit all AWD DSM transmission cases from 1989 to 1999. If you own a FWD we can modify an AWD case to accept the FWD gearset. For FWD owners we can also provide you with a choice of three different final drive ratios depending on the tire size you wish to run.

Shift quality and speed of shifting is immensely improved, no more missed gears, lower quarter mile times and lap times.

Not recommended for daily driving street use, this is a racing transmission.
