Magnus Porsche 996 – 997 Slim Fan kits

After building several high HP 996 and 997 Porsche Twin Turbo’s here at Magnus we kept running into a problem. Big charge piping, lead to interference with the factory engine bay fan. This kit is designed around using a Spal slim fan. Spal fans are made to OE standards or better and have an extremely long life span.

A common debate with 996 and 997 platforms is the “push and pull” fan debate. Lets clear the debate once and for all! All naturally aspirated 996 and 997 uses a “Puller” style fan as active cooling and all turbo models both 996/997 Turbo/GT2 uses “Pusher/Purge” style fan to extract the heat out of the engine bay.

Pusher Fan – Pushes air out of the engine bay AKA Purge Fan

Puller Fan – Pulls Air into the engine bay
